Dr. David F. Cuccia - Inventor of ExtenTrac® Elite System and Protocol
Dr. David F. Cuccia is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College Class of 1980. He currently maintains an active multidisciplinary practice in Syosset, New York where he utilizes Extentrac® Elite. Certified Extentrac Practitioners receive ongoing clinical instruction at his facility.
Design Inception Created by Need
While treating many herniated disc patients with sciatic antalgia, Dr. Cuccia decided to manually position a chronic patient into extension simultaneously with vertical positioning. He observed immediate reduction in both pain and antalgia. In 1983, he built the original Extentrac. From 1983 to present day, extensive cooperation between Dr. Cuccia and skilled physicians, experienced design engineers, and most importantly - patients has lead to the development of the Extentrac® Elite.
